Urbanista may be known as a Swedish lifestyle audio brand, but they’re also pioneers in technology and take audio quality very seriously. The company has announced the launch of the new Urbanista Phoenix, the world’s first truly wireless earbuds that offer noise canceling and solar charging.

Last year, the company teamed up with Exeger to launch the Urbanista Los Angeles headphones. These were Exeger’s world first products using his Powerfoyle technology. This technology is a thin plastic film that can change the light and create endless playtime by ensuring that the battery is always charged and ready to go.

Urbanista Phoenix are the first true wireless earbuds to use Powerfoyle solar material in the charging case. Phoenix has a battery that is continuously charged in the charging case and exposed to almost any outdoor or indoor light source.

The new earbuds are equipped with Active Hybrid Noise Canceling technology. Plus, it includes a noise-cancelling microphone that can filter out unwanted background sounds, giving you clear calls without distractions, especially in crowded and noisy areas.

Tuomas Lonka is Urbanista’s Brand and Marketing Director. “Urbanista’s Los Angeles self-charging headphones have been well received and we wanted to apply this technology to a truly wireless design.” .”

Giovanni Fili, Founder and CEO of Exeger, said: Los Angeles headphones set a new standard. ”

of Urbanista Phoenix true wireless earbuds connect via Bluetooth and support multipoint connectivity. That means Phoenix can wirelessly connect to two of his devices at the same time. The lightweight earbuds also feature intuitive touch controls and intelligent voice assistants, allowing users to skip tracks, increase volume and issue other commands hands-free.

Urbanista Phoenix’s sound can be customized using the EQ controls in the Urbanista smartphone app. The iOS and Android apps also provide information on how to get the most out of your earbuds’ playtime, including visual indications of solar charge level and usage. There are also options to customize touch controls and voice assistants.

Axel Grell is an audio engineer at Urbanista and former chief designer at Sennheiser. “Phoenix advances their technology to create a cutting-edge, innovative audio experience, and we’ve worked hard to develop a soundstage to match. It delivers crystal-clear, transparent sound with punchy bass that doesn’t overwhelm. The Phoenix also provides hours of comfortable listening.”

Like all Urbanista products, Phoenix is named after a city. The earbuds are inspired by the desert landscape of his one of the sunniest cities on earth. The earbuds come in Midnight Black (black) or Desert Rose (pink). Custom-fitted silicone tips create an excellent passive acoustic seal while ensuring the earbuds fit securely and comfortably in your ears. And while water can be scarce in most deserts, the Phoenix boasts his IPX4 water resistance rating, which means it can be used even in damp rains.
