FSA brings together a community of supply chain and logistics professionals from the food and beverage industry and its suppliers to foster educational and networking opportunities and enable improved supply chain efficiency.

The Top Food Chain Technology Program recognizes outstanding technology in food transportation, logistics, distribution and supply chain management, according to Brian Everett, group publisher and editorial director of Food Chain Digest. “Technology has become the backbone of the food supply chain,” said Everett. “Technology platforms, applications and innovators are emerging in the food and beverage market to improve efficiency, productivity and transparency in the food chain. We focus on leaders who can easily help us achieve.”

According to Everett, Food Chain Digest rolled out the certification program this year as an initiative to serve as a resource for food shippers seeking new opportunities to leverage technology in their supply chain strategy and execution. It is the first time.
