Amazon Echo Show lets you check the news, monitor different locations, and make and receive video calls with other Alexa users.
The Amazon Echo Show is a useful device for businesses as well as homes. With a built-in display screen, Echo Show can show you the latest news, weather, and other useful information. You can use your Echo Show to remotely monitor different locations and make video calls to other Echo Show or Alexa users. Here’s how to set up and use the Echo Show in your business.
The touchscreen makes the Echo Show easier to set up than other Echo devices. Configure Show devices directly from the screen instead of using the Alexa app. To get started, place your Echo Show where you plan to use it and plug it in. The device will automatically power on and be ready for setup.
Set up your Echo Show
Select your language on the first screen. Then select your wireless network and enter the password from the touch screen to[接続]Tap. Once the connection is established, you will be asked to sign in with your Amazon account. If you don’t have one, create an account on Amazon’s website. Otherwise, enter the username and password for your existing account. Once your account is verified,[続行]Tap.
Check your time zone and address. Specify the room where the Echo Show is located. Confirm the default name of the device or enter another name. Select a collection of images for your device’s display,[続行]Tap.
Show then asks if you want to use it to monitor your home, office, or another location. , you can view the live stream from the device’s front-facing camera. You can view the stream from another Echo Show or Alexa app. To turn on the stream,[有効にする]Tap. Otherwise,[今は使用しない]Tap.[完了]Tap.

Next, you’ll be asked if you want to enable Amazon Sidewalk. This is a feature that shares a small portion of your local internet bandwidth with nearby devices or neighbors. Businesses can do this when connecting to wireless devices outside the office, such as security cameras. Otherwise, leave this disabled. Next, you’ll be asked if you want Show child-friendly. Tap “No” and Amazon will pitch some offers your way. Say no to these. The show was set up.
Customize Your Echo Show
Once set up, speak to Alexa whenever you have a question or request. Echo Show needs to be tweaked to display certain information. Swipe in from the top of the screen until you see a two-line icon.[設定]icon, then tap[ホームと時計]Settings.[ホームと時計]on the screen,[ホーム コンテンツ]option. On the next screen, make sure the content you want to see on your home screen is toggled on, including Daily Insights, Nearby Businesses & Things to Do, Helpful Tips on COVID-19, News, Notifications, and Productivity. Choose from the recommendations of Stocks, trending topics, weather and calendar schedules. Switch off content you don’t need.
Return to the home screen. Swipe down from the top to reveal the row of icons again and access other features you may want to set. If you don’t want to hear or see notifications or other interruptions, tap the Do Not Disturb icon. Tap the brightness icon to increase or decrease screen brightness. Tap the notification icon to see historical news headlines, weather forecasts, and other alerts. Tap the alarm icon to set the alarm. Tap the Smart Home icon to control Alexa-enabled smart devices in your office.
Monitor your Echo Show’s location
With live streaming enabled, you can use your Echo Show to see what and who is in front of your camera. To view the live feed, download and install the Alexa app on your mobile device (if you haven’t done so already).Open the app and at the bottom[デバイス]Tap the icon to[Echo & Alexa]Choose. Tap your Echo Show’s name and select the camera icon. You should now see your live feed. Tap the speaker icon if you want to hear audio from the stream. If you want to speak to the person, tap the microphone icon (Figure A).

You can use your Echo Show to make a video call to another Echo Show user or anyone using the Alexa app. Conversely, anyone can call your show from another show or the Alexa app.
To make a call from Show, swipe down from the top of the screen, tap[通信]Choose. Tap Call Options and select the person or device you want to call. To do this from the Alexa app, at the bottom[通信]Tap the icon,[通話]and select a person or device. As you speak, the call is automatically transcribed so you can see the conversation. You can enable or disable video or audio once the call is connected. To hang up, tap the phone icon (Figure B).
