Barrow 3-2 Bradford City - BBC Sport

Barrow continued their perfect start to the new season with a dramatic 3–2 victory over Bradford at Holker Street.

Shortly after Andy Cook equalized in stoppage time, Josh Gordon scored the stoppage time winner, giving Pete Wilde’s team a maximum of six points.

After a difficult first half, the game was exciting with two goals in three minutes.

Ben Whitfield broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute by picking up a Patrick Blow header and firing a low shot past Bradford keeper Harry Lewis from the edge of the D.

Mark Hughes’ Bantams equalized two minutes later. Cook and Ryan East teamed up to tee up Jake Young and hit an angled drive to the underside of the bar to cross the line.

Barrow regained the lead five minutes later as Whitfield’s corner was scrambled from close range by Josh Kaye.

Bradford thought they had saved a point when Cook swooped in after Paul Furman failed to keep Young’s shot. But Gordon sealed it in the sixth minute of injury time.
